This album is a rare recording of 12 previously unpublished songs with piano accompaniment by 20th century Polish composer Eugeniusz Morawski. Featuring emotionally rich performances by mezzo-soprano Agnieszka Leiris, who has performed at major opera houses and festivals at home and abroad, and internationally acclaimed pianist Tadeusz Domanowski, the album contains songs in multiple languages (Polish, German, English, and French). This is the first modern revival of Morawski's long-forgotten vocal works and has been highly acclaimed, including a 2015 Frederick Award nomination in the "Best Solo Recital Album" category.
