Formed in 1971 by Jozef Skrzek (b/key/vo), Apostolis Anthimos (g) and Jerzy Piotrowski (drs/perc), the band has been active in the Polish progressive rock scene since then. The band was originally released on GAD Records in Poland in 1979 in LP format only, but was reissued in CD format in '24. This album contains songs recorded in March 1977 when the band was commissioned by Warsaw's documentary film studio Wytwornia Filmow Dokumentalnych to produce a soundtrack for the film. This recording was originally included in the compilation box "LOST TAPES VOL.2" released by Metal Mind Productions in 2006 under the title of "OGNISTE KOLO", but the box has long since been discontinued, and this is the long-awaited CD This is the long-awaited reissue in CD format for fans. Although it was recorded for the soundtrack, it also strongly reflects the SBB's stage presence at the time: "Motyw szkarlatny," a fragile dreaminess with Jozef's electric piano and string synths; "Podejscie," a cool jazz-funk number that is incorporated into the middle section of the big "Odejscie"; "EGAH," a heavy ensemble that seems to be swinging back to its early style; and "Freedom," a song that would later be released as a cover version of the "Podejscie" album. The cool jazz-funk number "Podejscie", which is incorporated into the middle of the big song "Odejscie", the heavy ensemble "EGAH", which is also a swing back to the early style, and the mellow keyboard sympho "Wiosenna preria", which later develops into "Freedom With Us", are just a few of the colorful contents and the quality of the performance. In addition to its colorful contents and excellent performance, this album has high documentary value as a prelude or draft of "SBB (WOLANIE O BRZEK SZKLA)" and "FOLLOW MY DREAM," making it a must-have for fans of the band despite its somewhat maniacal contents! Bonus tracks "Glebia morska", "Wibrujaca pozytywka", "Jutrzenka", "Wiosna II - W droge" from a studio session in March '77 are also included. The masters were remastered from the original master tapes.
