Description:
Ludmil Michał Rogowski (1881-1954), a composer from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, was born in Lublin, Poland, and was greatly influenced by Chopin's music. He did not seek inspiration for his compositions from outside of Poland, but rather drew on a variety of domestic elements and subjects, including the Polish folk song Obelek, and left behind an interesting body of work as a "post-Chopin" composer.
