The Trio Pascal is a piano trio formed by veteran French pianist Denis Pascal and his sons. The trio performs two of Schubert's masterpieces. The father, Doni Pascal, is well known for his many CD releases, and the cellist, Aurélien, became popular for his eloquent playing and good looks during his visit to Japan in 2015, and was scheduled to come to Japan for the Forgeurne in 2020, so many fans were disappointed. Trio Pascal is, first and foremost, neat and elegant. The sincerity of expression shone through, and the audience was immersed in the world of the last movement of No. 2, which is called "heavenly in length.
