Butcher Brown, an up-and-coming instrumental band consisting of multi-instrumentalist Devon Harris aka DJ Harrison (keys), Keith Askey (g), Andrew Randazzo (b), and Corey Fonville (ds), has released Butcher Brown, an album of material recorded live in July 2017 in their hometown of Richmond, VA. The band will release "Live at Vagabond," an album featuring live recordings from July 2017 in their hometown of Richmond, Virginia. This will be the band's first multi-format worldwide release. The numbing energy of the album is an indication of how essential a live album is. The modern hip-hop-influenced funk is reminiscent of Return to Forever and early Earth, Wind, and Fire.
