Echo & The Bunnymen, one of the most popular UK rock bands of the 80's, reissued their second album "With Your Life" in 1999 as an anniversary edition to celebrate its 25th anniversary. This is a fresh album that stands out for its songwriting by Ian McCulloch. Juan Lavin Criminals guested on the album. Echo & The Bunnymen were one of the leading British rock bands of the 1980s. The band established their popularity as a standard-bearer of neo-psychedelic music with their hit "Porcupine" in 1983. With Your Life" is their eighth studio album, released in 1999. The band stopped their activities in the early 90's due to the departure of vocalist Ian McCulloch, but Ian returned and the band restarted. This is their second album after the reunion, following "Evergreen".The London Metropolitan Orchestra plays strings on the album, and the American mixed-media band Juan Lavin Criminals guests on two songs, "Get In The Car" (second single) and "When It All Blows Over". The first single, the atmospheric "Rust" (UK Chart No. 22), and other tracks are a departure from the 80's. Ian McCulloch's matured songwriting style stands out, making this a fresh album to listen to now. This is the first analog release.
