While the preceding single "Maria Tambien" showcases the aggressive funk sound cultivated in the band's hundred-plus live performances, this album is as deep, chill, and organic as ever, with a hot water level of intense, lush, and dusty grooves that is the ultimate mastery of the art of music.The mellow and core bass line by Laura Lee, a beautiful bassist in red, the dry and tight drumming by Donald "DJ" Johnson, and the romantic guitar playing by Mark Spear, who has swallowed everything from AOR to soft rock to Hawaiian, are truly the hidden hot springs of Texas.
