The debut album from Norwegian and Filipino artist AND IS PHI, now based in South London! AND IS PHI is a multi-faceted artist who not only writes music, but also creates his own artwork and music videos for his albums, and whose debut album is a reflection of his life in Norway, the Philippines, and now South London. It tells the story of facing corruption and violence in Manila, DJing in Oslo, losing his vast record collection in a fire, and then making friends and family in the London jazz scene. The songs are diverse in sound, blending influences from JONI MITCHELL, FRANK ZAPPA, 90's R&B to MADLIB's "SHADES OF BLUE". She will be an important figure in the South London scene as well.
