The band has released three albums to date: their first in 2007, "A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation" (#11 UK AL Chart), "The Wombats Proudly Present This Modern Glitch" (2011/ #3 UK AL Chart), and " Glitterbug (2015, #5 UK AL Chart), and three albums to date, Matthew "Murph" Murphy (Vo/G/Key), Dan Haggis (Ds), and Toad Overland Knudsen (B), the Liverpool, UK band = The Wombats.The new album, "Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life," is the first album in three years to feature a guitar pop sound with a synth pop twist, and was produced by Mark Crews (Bastille, etc.) and Katherine Marks (Wolf Alice). Ten years have passed since the band's debut album, and the new album features the matured sound of "The Wombats" while maintaining the band's originality.
