Maisie Peters is an up-and-coming UK singer/songwriter who has been making her way around the world on Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records label. Maisie Peters is a singer/songwriter from Brighton, UK, who has been spreading her wings internationally through Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records label. She has been gaining attention as a promising new artist on the UK pop scene. After releasing several EPs and being the only UK artist to be selected for the soundtrack album of the film "Harley Quinn's Awakening: Birds of Prey," she signed with Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records label in 2021. In the same year, she released her debut album "YOU SIGNED UP FOR THIS", which reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. She is now releasing her second album. The album, titled "THE GOOD WITCH," is mainly composed of songs created in between the hectic touring schedule of the year 2022. While their debut album "YOU SIGNED UP FOR THIS" was a record of their "adulting selves," "THE GOOD WITCH" is an album inspired by American author Joan Didion, British playwright/novelist J.M. Produced by Maisie herself, Ines Dunn (Griff, Mimi Webb), and Matias Tellez (girl in red, AURORA), the song was released at the end of January as the first single from the album. It is the most honest and most personal of all the songs released so far, with a transparent pop sound, but the lyrics about heartbreak express more pain and worry than ever before, according to Maisie.
