A tribute to the three minimalists Reich, Glass and Riley! With new instruments and compositions, the album "BL!NDMAN" has created a new sound as the 21st century. The ensemble was formed at the initiative of saxophonist and Belgian composer Eric Sleichim, and is a talented group that has released over 20 albums to date. Classical performances are only a small part of their activities, and the group also transcends genres and fuses with other genres. Their previous albums for Warner Classics were saxophone quintets performing works by Bach and Handel, but this new project is a tribute to American minimalists Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and Terry Riley, who currently lives in Japan. In order to create the outstanding sound that this unique lineup produces, Eric Sleichim has versioned the saxophone quintet, strings, percussion, and electronics as a hybrid for this album, creating a new sound for the 21st century.
