This 3-disc set (CD+DVD) features a 4-panel digipak. It fully captures the October 2013 London concert at The Royal Albert Hall—part of the UK tour following the 2012 release of 'GENESIS REVISITED II', the second album of self-remade GENESIS/solo tracks—including the encore, all on 2CD/DVD: Disc 1 Blu-ray (CD and DVD contain identical content). Featuring Nad Sylvan (vocals) of UNIFAUN/AGENTS OF MERCY as frontman, who also appeared on the 2013 live album 'GENESIS REVISITED: LIVE AT HAMMERSMITH', the concert delivers a succession of self-remade classics from both GENESIS and solo careers, starting with the opening track 'Watcher Of The Skies', including songs from the 1996 and 2012 self-remake albums.Master Hackett, who delivers one brilliant phrase and solo after another backed by band members who tighten the key sections while providing precise support, is a highlight to see and hear, as is Nad Sylvan's masterful impersonation of Gabriel's vocals, proven once again during the Japan tour. Drummer Gary O'Toole's skillful accents, showcasing his superb vocals on 'Fly On A Windshield', are also outstanding. The masterful playing and sound, establishing Hackett's current identity beyond a mere reproduction live, are exquisite. Former band member Amanda Lehmann shines with twin guitars on 'Shadow Of The Hierophant'. Nik Kershaw (vocals) & Steve Rothery (guitar) join on 'The Lamia', John Wetton (vocals) on 'Aftergrow', and Jakko Jakszyk (vocals/duet with Amanda Lehmann) on 'Entangled'. These numerous star guests brilliantly adorn the stage, elevating the entire performance.DVD: Disc 2 features live/rehearsal footage and a documentary titled "Behind the Scenes," composed of interviews with Steve Hackett himself, band members, and guests including John Wetton, Nik Kershaw, and Steve Rothery. It covers the background of the 2012 album's creation, the band members, and the tour. Hackett himself candidly shares his thoughts on the pioneers of the Progressive Rock scene, his juniors, and the next generation – a must-see segment.
