Beak>, a three-piece band led by Portishead's Jeff Barlow, will release their long-awaited studio album, >> (*also known as Beak3), their third in six years. The album was produced in 2017 and recorded mostly at Invader Studios in their hometown of Bristol. This studio, which is equipped with a number of instruments and equipment, is a historic masterpiece manufacturing plant that operates out of a renovated SOA studio owned by Jeff Barlow, which Portishead has used for over 20 years.Since the release of their last album ">> (*also known as Beak 2)" in 2012, they have toured the world energetically and performed in Japan for the first time in Jeff's career at the HOSTESS CLUB ALL-NIGHTER held in 2017, where the whole venue was filled with joy. With their experience of performing at large-scale international music festivals and events, they have created a high-quality and addictive album that surpasses their previous two releases.
