PHIL MATHIAS, the owner of REVUERECORDS, is one of the people who contributed to the development of this genre outside of the UK. This album is a compilation of his work on BARBARA JONES' SINGS HIT SONGS IN REGGAE STYLE, DOREEN SHAFFER's WONDERFUL SOUNDS, and many other tracks released on REVUER RECORDS between 1980 and 1985. Most of them have never been released on CD before. Most of the tracks have never been released on CD before, making this a must-have for fans. Bonus tracks include BORIS GARDINER, RUDDY THOMAS, and many more. Highly recommended for beginners of Jamaican Lovers Rock.
