Gary Moore, the legendary rock guitarist from Northern Ireland. He made his professional debut at the tender age of 17 and continued to walk the mainstream path of the British rock scene with a rock sound crafted through his powerful and one-of-a-kind guitar technique, but his sudden passing in 2011 saddened fans around the world... Now, a precious live archive from the 1980s—when Gary Moore began his career as a solo artist and established his status as a top guitarist—is finally here!
In 1985, Gary Moore released the album *Run For Cover*, which reached No. 12 on the UK charts, partly due to the success of the single “Out in the Fields.” In 1987, following the U.S. release of *Wild Frontier*, he embarked on his first world tour in years, the *Wild Frontier Tour*, comprising 71 shows primarily in the United States. The final concert of the tour, held on September 1 in Boston, was recorded and broadcast on PBS Radio for promotional purposes. This album is a live recording based on that broadcast. With the exception of “The Loner,” which fades out due to time constraints, it captures the entire concert, including the encore.
Among the many live archives of this rock guitarist, this performance—captured during a period when Gary himself was at the top of his game—showcases a truly compelling performance.
