Bob Wilson (ds) and Larry Williams (kbds, sax, fl), who had worked together in the 1970s, moved their base of operations from Honolulu, Hawaii to Los Angeles in 1976 and started their own band, Sea Wind. The band, also known as the "Sea Wind Horns," featured a strong and aggressive horn section consisting of Jerry Hay, Larry Williams, and Kim Hutchcroft, with Hawaiian songstress Pauline Wilson adding her own flair to the group. The group made a name for itself as one of the most important groups in the fusion scene in the 1980s. This is a rare recording of the group's performance in Japan in the 1980s, when they were at the peak of their popularity. Although Jerry Hay, the horn section member, did not participate in this show due to his busy schedule, Larry and Kim filled in for him.This is a super rare recording that is a must for fans to enjoy their outstanding performance in their prime, including the opening song "Futari wa Kaze" and "Still in Love," in which Pauline's powerful singing can be enjoyed, and the instrumental number "Pura Vose," which is a gem in the atmosphere of Honolulu, the band's home town. Two additional bonus tracks from the band's Japan tour in 1982, featuring Philippine-born female vocalist Marlene, are included.
