After leaving Deep Purple, David Coverdale formed Whitesnake to pursue his own musical style, and the band is still active at the top of the HM/HR scene. After the release of "Slide It In", the band's first album for Gefyn Records in January 1984, the band changed members and John Sykes (who died in December 2024) was replaced by David Cavadale. John Sykes (died in December 2024) and Neil Murray joined the band. The band becomes a strong lineup and begins its first major world tour. The band continues as a five-piece, despite the departure of Mel Galley due to injury. The June 30 concert in Switzerland was recorded and broadcast as a local radio program. This album is an album release using the sound recordings from this radio broadcast, and selected songs are included in the encores.Although the sound quality is a bit of a problem, the powerful live performance more than makes up for it, and it is a wonderful way to fully enjoy this rare live lineup!
