Ronnie James Dio, a member of the Metal Gods, led Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, and his own band Dio at the forefront of the HM/HR scene, but died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010. The album "Sacred Heart" was released in August 1985 to critical acclaim, but guitarist Vivian Campbell left the band and was replaced by Craig Goldie, formerly of Jeffria. The band then embarked on its first world tour, which lasted two years. During this tour, a concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 17, 1986 was recorded and broadcast for television and radio broadcasting by PBS (USA). This album is based on the broadcast and includes the complete concert including guitar and drum solos, medleys, and two encores.Ronnie James Dio's vocals are powerful enough to overwhelm the audience, and newcomer Craig Goldy's unique technique and approach are mesmerizing.
