Gazpacho is a Norwegian art-rock band that has released a number of philosophical and conceptual works over the past 20 years. Their new album "Fireworker" is surely the most profound work you will hear in 2020. Gazpacho was formed by childhood friends Yon-Arne Vilbo (g) and Tomas Annashen (kbds), who brought in Jan-Henrik Uma (vo). In 2004, the trio toured Europe as the opening act for Marillion. This led to the release of their third album, "Firebird," as well as the reissue of their first and second albums on Marillion's label, Raquette Records. During this time, the band went through member changes, completing the lineup that has remained intact up to the present day. In 2011, the band signed a contract with Kscope.Released in 2020, "Fireworker" boasts the same finely composed and richly expressive songs as its predecessors, and is a perfect match for the isolation depicted in 2007's "Night" and 2010's "Missa Atropos," the misadventures of 2009's "Tick Tock" and 2018's "Soyuz," and the unforgettable stories of the "Fireworker" in 2014's "Soyuz" and 2014's "Tik Tock". and "Soyuz" in 2018, and the intersection of theology and science represented by "Demon" in 2014 and "Molok" in 2015, all of which shape human nature. The lyrics are philosophical, exploring the "fireworker" who manipulates human behavior in the depths of the mind, and the album is divided into five movements.
