Pineapple Thief frontman, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and lyricist Bruce Sword releases his latest solo album, 2019's "All This Will Be Yours," a creative follow-up to his 2016 solo debut, This creative follow-up to his 2016 solo debut is an album that incorporates elements of Pineapple Thief's evolution, as well as Sword's own willingness to experiment, with an acoustic touch. Sword says that the album is a reflection of his grief over the poverty in his hometown of Yeovil and his joy at the birth of his third child there. Yeovil is known for its poverty and high crime rate, and Sword field recorded what he saw while walking around the city (people being dragged to the local drug dealer "Number 158," children screaming on their way to school, sirens blaring incessantly, old men singing as they walked past their homes, etc.) and incorporated them into the album. The album is a collection of field recordings of the same people.With its finely layered sampling of acoustic guitar sounds, as well as modern elements, this album offers a unique and original worldview different from that of Pineapple Thief!
