Since the birth of modern jazz in the 1950s, this music has continued to develop through the creative activities of various jazz musicians who have taken up the challenge. Pat Metheny is undoubtedly one of the artists who has made the greatest contribution to this music by creating works in a variety of directions. The Pat Metheny Group, which was at the center of his creative activities, released a number of masterpieces, and the concert activities that accompanied their releases expanded the possibilities of jazz music and created a large number of fans. It was a jazz album that reached No. 102 on the U.S. album chart, and won a Grammy Award for "Best Jazz/Fusion/Performance" in 1985. Following this, he embarked on a world tour, albeit only 20 times. The final leg of the tour was a one-time visit to Japan. The live performance was recorded and broadcasted for FM radio program.This release is a remastered version of the audio sub-master that was recorded for this broadcast. The live performance was recorded during the band's peak performance period, so the content of the CD is very rich. The live version of "This Is Not America," the main song from the movie "Codename is Falcon," which was released in the same year, is included as a bonus track. Imported domestic edition
