(OHYA (DARUMA), AKIRA (EVIS BEATS)) (now retired), and MINT (ILL MINT) (now retired), the Naniwa backyard rhyme troupe, Rhyme Tread Association's first two albums "Critical 11" and "Jangal" have been remastered for release! The first analog version is also available! The second album "Jangal", released in 2003 by the Naniwa backyard rhyme group, Rhyme Association, formed in Osaka's Amerika-mura, has been remastered and reissued in analog form for the first time! The album is a masterpiece among masterpieces in the history of Japanese rap, highly acclaimed by music magazines as the culmination of the work of the founding members! The group CHIEF ROKKA (SATUSSY, ERONE, DJ KAN), HEAD BANGERZ (HIDADDY, YU-GI...) and HIDADDY (HIDADDY, YU-GI...) were active around Amerika-mura, Osaka, Japan,The Rhyme Union is a rhyming group formed by DJ KITADA KEN, MENTOL), NOTABLE MC (OHYA (DARUMA), AKIRA (EVISBEATS)) (now retired), and MINT, aka ILL MINT (now retired). The first album "Critical 11" released in 2002 was a big hit and made their name known in the scene, and their second album "Jangal" released in 2003 has been remastered and reissued as an analog album for the first time. The title track "Jangal," which opens the album, is a masterpiece in the history of Japanese rap music, and has been highly acclaimed by music magazines. Aoi Haru" means "blue spring" in Japanese, and this album is a compilation of the members of the group at the time of its formation. Looking back on these two albums now, I think that they are the works of our youth and the starting point of our music. It was the time when we were just going right and left with only the vibes and initial impulses, and our right brains and left brains were fully rotating and rhyming all over the place.It seems like only yesterday, but I am surprised to realize that 20 years have already passed. I remember with nostalgia how I used to burn with a burning desire to be original, to work hard, and to produce results. The spark of talent and the chemical reactions between rap and beats made this an epoch-making album, no doubt. With artwork by DJ NAPEY and CMK, and the efforts of A&R man Masashi Sato (R.I.P.), I think we have left our mark on the scene. I hope that this release will be an opportunity to let not only the heads who know about those days, but also the teenage listeners who were not born when the album was released, know and enjoy that there was a time when such a dense and dope album was released.
