BudaSport" is a joint project by Japan-based DJ/beatmaker BudaMunk, who is known worldwide, and LA-based beatmaker Jansport J, who has garnered attention for his work with Nas and Hit-Boy, among others! The project features ISSUGI, 5lack, Senninsho, Mr. PUG, DaichiYamamoto, and KOJOE from Japan, and Blu, Devin Morrison, Illa J, Like (Pac Div), and Thurz from the US! He has been active as a member of Sick Team, Green Butter, and as a solo artist, and has also been in charge of music for corporate commercials. BudaMunk is a DJ and beatmaker who has made a significant impact on the Japanese and international scene by releasing music on Delicious Vinyl and Fat Beats.Based in LA, Jansport J has established his own production style based on soulful beats, providing beats to a variety of rappers from major to underground, including Nas, Hit-Boy, Benny The Butcher, Freddie Gibbs, and Blu, as well as releasing works under his own name. The two have released "BudaSport," a TYO to LA joint project. This project is a collaboration between Jansport J and BudaMunk, and features a collection of artists from Japan and the U.S. who have ties to BudaMunk and Jansport J. The project is based on a session that Jansport J did with BudaMunk when he visited Japan.From the Japanese side, ISSUGI and 5lack of Sick Team, Senninsho, Mr. PUG, Daichi Yamamoto, KOJOE, GAPPER, OYG, Ume, and LafLife, and from the US side, Like (Pac-Div) known for his participation in Kendrick Lamar's works, and Thurz, who has participated in Dr. Dre's latest work, as well as Blu, Devin Morrison, Illa J, Slim Jeff, and Quadry. From the US side, the album includes Mike (Pac Div), known for his participation in Kendrick Lamar's work, and Thurz, who is also known for his participation in Dr. Dre's latest album, as well as Blu, Devin Morrison, Illa J, Slim Jeff, and Quadry.
