Series new work, operation start! Full Metal Panic! is the story of Sosuke Sagara, a member of the combat unit Mithril, who finds himself in a tough battle against a terrorist organization when he is assigned to escort Kaname Chidori, a high school girl with an ability known as Whispered. ...... The series has been adapted into an anime for television three times: the first season in 2002, the second season, "Full Metal Panic? The first season was aired in 2002, the second in 2003, and the third in 2005, "Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory" was broadcast in 2005, and finally the long-awaited new series "Full Metal Panic! In preparation for the broadcast of the new TV anime series "Full Metal Panic!The director Koichi Chiaki, who was in charge of the first series, took charge of everything from offline editing to sound work, and decided to produce a director's cut trilogy of 24 episodes, reorganized into three parts and screened at the event! The screen size, which was 4:3 at the time of broadcast, was changed to 16:9, with top and bottom cuts and some trimming to accommodate the theatrical screen. Furthermore, up-converted using the new "FORS" technology, the DA88 analog audio material was fully converted to data, and the 2-channel stereo audio was converted to pseudo 5.1-channel. Retakes and new cuts were also added, and new theme music was created for each of the three films. The film is a full-fledged sci-fi military suspense film filled with seriousness. The first director's cut version of the trilogy, which will be screened at events, will be released three months in a row! The trilogy of limited screenings is now on Blu-ray! Jacket design by Shiki Doji, who is in charge of the original illustration!
