The "Higurashi" is coming back! A new project of the legendary series is finally underway! The sound novel-style doujinshi game "Higurashi no Nakukoro ni Koro ni", with scenario, character design, and CG by Ryuunishi 07, was first released in 2002, and fans all over Japan went crazy over its horror and mystery elements and numerous foreshadowing elements, as well as its mysterious storyline that led to more and more mysteries. In 2006, the series was adapted into an animated TV series and became a huge hit! The legendary and very popular work, which has been developed into various media such as OVA releases, comic book adaptations, live-action movies, and merchandise, is now being adapted into a new anime! The shivering mystery set in the cold village of Hinamizawa, with a population of less than 2,000, will begin airing in October 2020! A wide variety of specialists have gathered! Expectations are high for the new "Higurashi"!The series is directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi, a veteran director of "Absolutely Lovely Children" and "Frame Arms Girl," with Hayashinaoki (A3!) as series director and character designs by Bakemonogatari series and "Do You Watch the Fireworks from Below? and "A3!", etc., for character design. and "Bakemonogatari" series, and "Sakaide kara mieruka? In addition, Kenji Kawai, who was in charge of the previous "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" series, will continue to provide the music! Animation production is by PASHONE, the studio responsible for many popular works including "High School DxD HERO" and "Heterogeneous Reviewers". The cute and exciting new characters are a must-see! The cast members from the previous productions are all here! Soichiro Hoshi as Keiichi Maehara, Mai Nakahara as Rena Ryumiya, Satsuki Yuki as Shion Sonozaki, Mika Kanai as Satoko Hojo, Yukari Tamura as Rika Furute, and many other voice actors who gave passionate and brilliant performances that have left a strong impression on "Higurashi" fans and anime fans in Japanese anime history!
