The second stage adaptation of the popular anime "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass"! The "Stage PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass Virtue and Vice" is a spin-off story with original characters set in the Public Security Bureau Criminal Section 3, written for the stage in April 2019 by Shin Fukami, scriptwriter of the "PSYCHO-PASS Psycho-Pass" anime series. The first production was staged. This second production, a prequel to the first, depicts the past of Kano Kuroshitsu. --One day, Hiro Kano, an enforcement officer in the Public Security Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division, receives a letter of resignation from Jaso, the head of the Public Security Bureau, and is appointed as a surveillance officer in an unusual promotion. At the same time, a dead body arrives at the Public Security Bureau, stuffed into a suitcase. The corpse is accompanied by a mysterious message saying, "Don't overlook the trolley problem. The members of the Criminal Investigation Section 3, led by Kano and consisting of newly appointed enforcement officers, investigate the case, but the friction gradually widens.Tracing the origin of the bodies, it was discovered that the "Special Autonomous Region Neo Nature Division" (commonly known as NND), an independent settlement isolated from the sibylla society where nativists live, had something to do with the incident.
