Trio Accord was formed in 2003 by three classmates, Kei Shirai, Hiroki Kadowaki, and Yuya Tsuda, while studying at Tokyo University of the Arts. In March 2020, the group performed Beethoven's Piano Trio in its entirety over three days at the Tokyo Spring Music Festival, receiving rave reviews for its high artistry and precise ensemble. In the midst of the Corona disaster, the recording took place immediately after the concert of all the pieces. In the two performances of the highly original "Op. 70," composed in 1808, you can hear the spirit and pride that went into their debut CD. (C)RS
