SPOILMAN: This year, 2023, the band will finally shake off the meter and create two albums' worth of music, which will be recorded on two albums as "UNDERTOW" and "COMBER". SPOILMAN, formed in Tokyo and starting their activities in 2019, is a rare alternative/grunge band influenced by US grunge and post-hardcore, and unusually in recent years, they profess respect for The Jesus Lizard and have inherited its metamorphosis. The band's expressiveness is backed by high performance, killer guitar riffs, rhythmic and beat resolution, muscle-shredding simplicity of note count, and gritty sound and its sharpness. The band has not been snatched up by the mainstream, and has maintained a BEST KEPT SECRET presence to this day. The speed of album production is astonishingly fast, with three albums so far, "BODY" (2020), "SOLID GREEN" (2021), and "HARMONY" (2022), all released on Kerosene Records at a yearly pace.The pace of creation continues to accelerate, and this year, 2023, they finally broke through the meter and produced two albums' worth of music, which will be recorded on two albums, "Undertow" and "Comber". Many of their friends joined them to record the two albums, which were completed in a single day, and the album is so full of killer songs that they proclaim it their best work ever. Both albums are positioned as the 4th album, with "Undertow" meaning "undertow" and "Comber" meaning "incoming wave," and the songs on both albums have a direction that is in line with each album.
