[ONE STEP FESTIVAL 50th ANNIVERSARY]*The 2019 FJSP371 "Masaki Ueda and South to South/1974 One Step Festival" which was out of stock is being re-released with a new part number, price and jacket. 1974, the legendary Koriyama One Step Festival. This is the first time to see the live performance of Masaki Ueda at the peak of South to South. South to South's peak live performance! Inspired by Woodstock, a young man in Koriyama, Fukushima, organized "One Step Festival" in Koriyama, Fukushima, in August 1974. The festival was held in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, in August 1974. A square for the young people! And big dreams! It was Japan's first rock event and the origin of the "One Step Festival." From August 4 to 10, 39 Japanese musicians participated, along with Yoko Ono & the Plastic Ono Super Band and Kris Kristofferson & Rita Coolidge from the U.S.This CD is a recording of Masaki Ueda's performance on August 9, the 4th day of the event, in two parts: an acoustic session with Junji Ariyama and a large band session with the newly formed South to South with a horn section (with Nagao Ishida as a support guest). The entire performance, including the MC, was recorded. The band had already attracted attention in the Kansai area, but this was their first performance outside of that area, and the performance shows the tremendous enthusiasm that gradually swirled around them. The groove and dynamic performance were at their peak just as they were about to make their breakthrough, and I confidently recommend this to those who were not satisfied with the "I want to tell you this hot soul" album released in 1975.
