NAUTILUS, the next generation band leading the rare groove scene in Japan, has released a 7inch single to announce the start of their new project in 2024! The single features NAUTILUS' cover of Des'ree's "Life" and Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster (Jammin')," both of which feature Emi Tawada, a close friend of NAUTILUS, on vocals. NAUTILUS has become a driving force in the Japanese rare groove scene. The project opens with a soulful cover of Des'ree's "Life," featuring Emi Tawada, a close friend of NAUTILUS who also covered Terri Walker's "Caught Up" to great acclaim. An instrumental cover of Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster (Jammin')," arranged with a sense of speed while maintaining the splendor of the original, will be featured on the flip side. NAUTILUS will be touring Germany this year as they did last year, and we look forward to seeing them in 2024 as the future of rare groove music.
