A new masterpiece album was born to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the band's formation. It has been two and a half years since their last album "Bouquet" and more than four years since the release of their first full-length album, bohemianvoodoo's long-awaited work is called "CROSSING. The sound of the album is somewhat nostalgic, and the melodies are familiar yet beautiful, making you hum along before you know it. Every song seems to have a scene spreading out before your eyes. The rhythm section is more profound in this album, which shows the deepening of Bohe's music. The powerful intro of (2) "Regal Grace" is impressive and pushes us forward like a hymn to life. The atmosphere drastically changes with (3) "Mystic," with its floating phrases creating a magnificent soundscape. The gorgeous melody line of (5) "Hana-hi yokkei" dances like fireworks in the night sky, and the following (6) "Ame-haru" has a brilliant guitar-piano interplay that shines in a royal Bohé style.(7) "Cradle" is a reprise of a song from the first album "Lapis Lazuli" released in 2010. The new arrangement shows Bohe's musical maturity, and fans of yesteryear will be happy to hear it. (8) "Bayfront Avenue" is another song that reminds one of Bohe's early days, with an exhilarating fusion-tinged groove that is pleasant to listen to. The title track (10), "Crossing," is full of songfulness, as if gently telling a story. The refreshing feeling after listening to these 10 songs is like encountering a beautiful landscape.
