The 3CD+DVD Deluxe Edition is the definitive collector’s edition of *For Your Pleasure*.
CD 1: Original Album (remastered by Bob Radwick)
CD 2: Demos, Rehearsals & Studio Outtakes
Features a total of 20 previously unreleased tracks, including songwriting sketches, band rehearsals, and studio outtakes.
These have been newly mastered by John Weber at AIR Studios.
CD 3: Live Sessions, Singles & Instrumentals
Of the 16 tracks, 14 are previously unreleased.
DVD: TV & Live Performances
Features rare television appearances and live performances originally broadcast on the BBC, as well as German and Swiss television stations, between 1972 and 1973. Includes a deluxe 116-page booklet.
In addition to this rare archival material, the release includes a 7,000-word essay based on new interviews with band members, producers, and the creative team, as well as a 2,500-word essay by Michael Bracewell. Furthermore, it contains a wide variety of materials, including numerous rare, previously unpublished photographs; original marketing materials (including press kits from the band’s first publicist, Simon Paxley); lyrics and draft lyrics by Brian Ferry; scanned images of tape reels; tour schedules; and a chronology of *For Your Pleasure*.
It also includes an essay by Nick de Ville on the visual world of Roxy Music.
