2021 marked the final tour for Millennium Crimson. This popular live album compiles recordings from their summer North American tour, specifically the shows in Washington, D.C. and Albany, New York. It is released in SHM-CD format and includes a bonus magnet featuring artwork of the "Deer Lady" painted by the late Francesca Sandsten, wife of Bill Lefflin! As the COVID-19 pandemic continued and rock band tours were universally canceled or postponed, King Crimson—who undertook a North American tour despite the physically grueling travel by tour bus, even for a young band, in order to maintain a "bubble" of isolation from the virus—left behind this popular live album, which is now being re-released. Naturally, this edition is also available in high-quality SHM-CD format. Millennium Crimson, which performed a series of reinterpretations of past classics under the theme "Reimagine Crimson," included songs from the Discipline Crimson era—the final hurdle—in their setlist, serving as a comprehensive summary of their career. This live album garnered enthusiastic support from fans upon its original release. The tour posters and artwork for Millennium Crimson were created by Francesca Sandsten, the partner of Bill Lefflin, who was himself a member of Millennium Crimson. This release includes a bonus magnet sheet featuring the "Lady Deer" artwork, which was adopted as the tour icon for the 2021 tour.
