YES! We are a "BIG BAND"! Original album celebrating the 20th anniversary of the formation of the band with new members. No Name Horses" is a big band of 15 members formed in 2005 at the urging of pianist Makoto Ozone, who continues to transcend genres and perform on a global scale. The members, including Eric Miyashiro and Eijiro Nakagawa, are all jazz musicians who are active in various scenes as leaders of their own bands. They have released six albums to date. The band has grown into a one-of-a-kind big band with a sophisticated ensemble based on a long-standing relationship of trust, a variety of original compositions by members led by Ozone, and endless creativity and playfulness. For its 20th anniversary in 2025, the band changed its name from "Makoto Ozone featuring No Name Horse" to "Makoto Ozone No Name Horse" and welcomed three new members (Hidetaro Matsui, Yu Riku, and Shinpei Ogawa). This is the first new album in five years.Each member of the band brought a new song to the project with the concept of swing and resonance that is supremely pleasing to the ear, returning to the big band's royal road.
