The album features 13 of Louis Armstrong's most popular recordings, including his worldwide hit "This Wonderful World," a song that has had a profound influence on popular music and remains a favorite of many well into the 21st century. In July 2024, Louis Armstrong will release his final live album, "This Wonderful World. Louis in London Live at the BBC (UCCV-1200)" was released to worldwide acclaim.This release features many of Louis Armstrong's biggest hits, including "Kiss of a Dream," "It's a Rosy Life," "Hello Dolly!" and "This Wonderful World." and "This Wonderful World," as well as a number of Louis Armstrong's biggest hits, including "Cheek to Cheek," "Dream a Little Dream of Me," and other timeless duets with Ella Fitzgerald. The booklet includes a liner by Ricky Riccardi, publisher of many of Louis Armstrong's books and director of research collections at the Louis Armstrong House Museum. Riccardi says, "Fifty-three years after his passing, Louis Armstrong is still attracting attention. His amazing songs are streamed tens of millions of times each month, and his popularity remains strong in the streaming age. This is an astounding number for an artist born in 1901. Satchmo, who was called POPS, is still TOPS. That's what it means."
