This is the third ECM album in two years by Oded Tool, a saxophonist who leads the "ECM of the 21st century. Oded Tool, born in Tel Aviv, has the unique background of having studied under the legendary Indian flutist Hariprasad Chaurasia, and his last album "Isabele" was described as "the Coltrane Quartet of the 21st century". His smooth and beautiful saxophone tone, also known as "the unique saxophone whisper," is on full display in this album.
