Hebler's Mozart piano works for PHILIPS, excluding the complete piano sonatas, are collected in a 5-disc set! The original order and couplings of the recordings have been preserved as much as possible. Newly mastered from the original analog masters with a new preface commentary. Total of 26 pages of commentary including song titles. As a memorial project for Ingrid Hebler, one of the most famous Mozart players of the 20th century, who passed away in May 2023 at the age of 93, we are reissuing two of her most famous recordings, "Mozart: Complete Piano Concertos" (PROC2383) and "Piano Pieces and Other Works". Apart from these recordings, several other titles were released within this project in 2012 and 2016. Among them are Mozart's "Complete Piano Sonatas" (PROC1201), "Complete Violin Sonatas" (PROC1994) with Schelling, and "Piano Concertos" (PROC1215) and other earlier recordings that are not included in the above-mentioned "Complete Piano Concertos". We hope that you will take this opportunity to listen to the masterpieces of the great pianist, Hebler, as his career continues.This "Piano Pieces, Variations, Works for 4 Hands, etc." is a collection of works recorded on the PHILIPS label between 1966 and 1978, and together with the "Complete Piano Sonatas", it is the complete set of piano works that was previously available on CD in Japan as UCCP9011 (\15,715). This is a box set of Hebler's piano recordings, excluding those by performers other than Hebler (the cembalo piece played by Copeman and one piece by Demus and Skoda). In doing so, we have reorganized the tracks and the order of the recordings on each disc to match the original format of the first release as closely as possible, so that the content is more in line with the original intent of each album. The first disc is "Pieces, etc.", and discs 1-10 are "Kleine Klavierstu (9500 501)" in the same order.
