The Verve Acoustic Sounds SACD series is the latest DSD conversion of these masters, allowing the listener to enjoy the ultimate sound of the label's prestigious work on SACD. This is one of the most famous recordings of the Verve era, in which Bill Evans rerecorded his beloved pieces such as "Israel" and "Elsa" with new bassist Chek Israel. The trio's sense of unity on "Round Midnight," which was a major repertoire at the time, is superb.
