[PEANUTS 70th Anniversary (UHQCD) Reissue] The popular comic "PEANUTS," with its unique characters such as Snoopy, the world's most famous beagle dog, and Charlie Brown, loved around the world, will celebrate its 70th birthday on October 2, 2020. To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the PEANUTS, all four PEANUTS-related albums by West Coast jazz pianist/composer Vince Galardi, who composed the music for the animated TV version of "PEANUTS" from the 60s to the 70s, are being released on UHQCD for the first time. This is the soundtrack to the (unaired) documentary on Charles M. Schulz, creator of Peanuts, produced as a special TV program for CBS in the U.S. in 1964. Although the program was never broadcast on TV, this album, Vince Galardi's sixth studio album, led to the release of many other Peanuts soundtracks, including 1965's "Snoopy's Merry Christmas". This is one of the albums that led to the PEANUTS soundtracks becoming a huge hit.
