As soon as he enters the school, his advisor, Mr. Tommy, invites him to join the Japanese archery club, and his childhood friends, Shizuya Takehaya and Ryohei Yamanouchi, readily agree. Minato had refused to join the club for some reason, but when Ryohei pushes him to go to the archery club's information session, he finds Kaito Onogi, Nanao Kisaragi, and others there as well. Minato was appointed by Mr. Tommy as a valuable person with experience in archery, and he hurriedly demonstrated archery in front of the participants, but his arrow did not hit the target.
