This is a new recording from David Paton Songs, produced entirely by David Paton himself. David Peyton himself produced the entire album, co-wrote one of the songs, and contributed to one of the others. Kenny Herbert and Rab What are both veteran artists based in Edinburgh, and have released solo albums and collaborated with David Payton on a variety of projects. Both Kenny and Love are admirers of The Beatles, and their writing is steeped in the heart of the British pop tradition, the art of sound that has taken off from Abbey Road Studios and into the world. In fact, Kenny released an album titled "The Last Song In Abbey Road" and delivered many beatly originals, while Love released an album of Beatles covers titled "The Spirit Of Lennon & McCartney. Love also released an album of Beatles covers titled "The Spirit Of Lennon & McCartney". In 2004, Kenny Herbert and Love What released an album titled "8-1-2-1-9-8-0 : Across The Universe" under the name of Herbert & Howat, which was dedicated to John Lennon who passed away on December 8, 1980. David Peyton also played bass on the album, and also co-wrote one song with Kenny and contributed "I Wonder," which is included on the Pilot album and David's solo album, "The Search.
