Description:
A video production of an additional performance at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa, Japan, which was the final leg of Sakanaction's nationwide tour "SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 "Kaiju"". The song "Kaiju," which also serves as the tour title, is the band's first new song in three years. Immediately after its release, the song swept the top of music charts and became a huge hit. The "SAKANAQUARIUM 2025 "Kaiju"" concert hall tour was held with "Kaiju" and all 34 shows at 17 venues were sold out on the same day. This film is a video recording of the final performance on August 27 (Wed.) of the two additional dates at K-Arena Yokohama in Kanagawa Prefecture. Yusuke Tanaka, a video director who has worked on numerous Sakanaction music videos and live performances, was in charge of the overall direction of the live performance. His innovative approach further evolves Sakanaction's live performances, which are considered to be a comprehensive art form. The stage is white, with the members lined up side by side, their costumes, the floor, and the back of the stage all white. A huge LED monitor, the same ratio as the floor on which the members stand, was hung above the stage, showing a "monster" themed video in which a man was the main character, and the video progressed simultaneously with the live performance.The audience was overwhelmed by the storyline in which the main character is a man, the visual effects including lighting and special effects, and the music performed by Sakanaction, which sometimes fused and sometimes competed with each other in an innovative expression. Yusuke Tanaka, who was the overall director of the live performance, directed the video and designed the package for the film.
