This is the first single package in about two and a half years since "Fushigi/Creation" was released in 2021. The title track, "Hikari no Ato" was written as the ending theme song for "SPY x FAMILY CODE: White the Movie," and was a surprise announcement with the movie's release on December 22, 2012. Seimei" attracted attention as the TBS theme song for the World Championships in Athletics and Asian Games to be held in the summer of 2023, and reached No. 1 across the board on various distribution sites. The coupling includes "Otomodachi", the theme song for "Audrey's All Night Nippon in Tokyo Dome", and "Beyond the Sequence", an instrumental song written for the "UCC COFFEE CREATION" commercial in which Hoshino himself appears. The limited first edition includes all 12 songs from the live part of the "YP Live Streaming "Banquet" Phoenix Phenomenon" live streaming concert held in 2022, a previously unreleased documentary, and all 8 songs from "LIVE the SPEEDSTAR" held this March at Makuhari Messe, which was the first time in a long time that Hoshino performed with his own voice. The BD/DVD will include all 12 songs from the "Phoenix Arc" live performance, as well as a previously unreleased documentary.
