Used by Momone Chiba, women's figure skater! A new masterpiece of contemporary French concerto! Indesens Calliope of France presents an album featuring the much-talked-about piano concerto "Ariana". The piano concerto "Ariana" by Yves Leveque, a versatile French composer who is active in a wide range of fields from classical music to chanson and film music, and explores musical expression beyond genres, was originally conceived as a short piece for a TV drama, but the idea expanded to a grand concerto of about 30 minutes in three movements. The idea grew and developed into a grand concerto in three movements, lasting about 30 minutes. It is an emotional and dramatic work that combines lyrical melodies influenced by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, subtle impressionistic textures, and contemporary rhythms and orchestration. category and won the Grand Prix at the Franz Schubert International Music Competition, among other international accolades.Parts of this work have also attracted attention because figure skater Momone Chiba used it in her program for the 2024-2025 season. The coupling of the two pieces is Frank's "Prelude, Chorale, and Fugue," which combines lyrical resonance and complex polyphony, and is sure to move the audience's souls through these two magnificent pieces of music. Born into a musical family in France, Caroline Fauchet studied at the Conservatoire de Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the Ecole Normale in Paris, where she won numerous awards, including the second prize at the Sofia International Competition and the Albert Roussel Prize. In 2023, she won the Grand Prix in the concerto category of the World Classical Music Awards for her performance of "Ariana," a work for which she has received international acclaim. In addition to his performing activities, he is passionate about teaching and has taught at universities in the U.S. and Scotland, and has published a piano teaching method of his own devising.
