Description:

Three concertos by Belgian composer Robert Grolleau. Although Grolleau is mostly self-taught in compositional techniques, he was originally an excellent pianist and conductor who won a prize in the piano category of the "Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition" in 1978, and his many works, which make use of his experience, have flexible expression and refined forms. His many works are flexible in expression and refined in form. Grolleau drew inspiration from poetry and paintings, and these three works tell a variety of imaginative stories. The Piano Concerto is a technical piece, the Cello Concerto is richly conceived, and the Harp Concerto takes the delicate tones of the instruments to their utmost limits.
