Two masters of Romanticism. Liszt (1811-1886), the founder of symphonic poetry, and Wagner (1811-1886), the founder of opera. As you know, both lived brilliant lives, both suffered from women's problems throughout their lives, and both created magnificent music. And it was Wagner whom Liszt's daughter Cosima eventually chose as her companion. The two thus became father and son in law. It is said that Liszt did not fully support Wagner's music, and only made some arrangements from his operas and operas. In particular, "Ring" is the only arrangement of the "Entry into Valhalla" scene from "Rhinegold. It would have been nice if there had been an arrangement of "Ride of the Valkyries" and others. I am sure there are many people who wish there was an arrangement of "Ride of the Valkyries" or something like that.
