A collection of masterpieces celebrating the French organ tradition. It includes the technical toccata from Symphony No. 5, the masterpiece of Vidor, the founder of the French organ school, as well as beautiful meditations by Vierne, a contemporary, and unique works by composers such as Duruflé, Boërmant, and Guilmant. In addition, Ravel's charming arrangements are included. Daria Litvishko, who makes her NAXOS debut, was born in 1995 in Lutsik in western Ukraine, where she studied piano and organ, and has lived in Germany since 2014, where she completed her professional education at the Volhyni State College of Culture and Arts and studied church music at the Westphalia Church Music He studied church music at the University of Westphalia, earning a Bachelor's degree in 2019 and a Master's degree in 2022. He is currently active in churches and music festivals throughout Europe, performing at Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Oratoire du Louvre, the Pantheon in Rome, and St. Michael's Church in Hamburg, among others. His activities have taken him to many European countries as well as Canada and the United States. He is organist at the Emmaus and St. Mary's churches in Herford, and is also involved in conducting.In addition, since the Russian invasion of his native Ukraine, he has been active in support activities, giving numerous benefit concerts.
