The seven pieces are his own compositions and arrangements (only Brahms was arranged by someone else), but they are all reissued and rereleased as eternal masterpieces, and are a collection of famous recordings familiar to fans. The music overlaps with 8.557388 released at the same time, so you can enjoy the pleasure of comparing the two. Fritz Kreisler was blessed with a natural gift for violin playing, and was admired equally by critics and audiences alike. Wherever he went, he was respected, admired, and liked by his fellow musicians. One of Kreisler's many talents - and one of his many gifts - was to create joyful arrangements of melodies written by other composers. The recordings here are transcriptions and arrangements for violin of Kreisler's own compositions as well as works by Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Dvořák, and Tchaikovsky, made between 1936 and 1938.This performance clearly shows that Kreisler, even as he approached his sixties, still maintained a fascinating tone and overwhelming technique.
