The addition of Haydn's early Symphony No. 4 and Symphony No. 87 brings the excitement of the Paris audience back to life. This is a live recording of the Haydn concertos, which is full of the lively and fragrant atmosphere that can only come from OLC, a company that focuses on Haydn in its performances. Haydn never visited Paris, but his works were already becoming increasingly well known from the 1770s and were quite popular in the 1980s.
