Description:
A collection of studio work and session recordings in chronological order. This is the ninth in the series. Finally, the Magical Mystery Tour. In April 1967, just four days after finishing recording the classic album "Sargent Peppers," the Beatles began recording a new song, "Magical Mystery Tour. The psychedelic era. The psychedelic era. This is an in-depth look at the studio work of the Beatles, who were at the forefront of the psychedelic era, with rare takes. It is extraordinary that only four days after the mastering of the album "Sargent Peppers" was completed, the recording of the next album began before it was even released. It must have been such a creative explosion for the Beatles, especially Paul, to record the song "Magical Mystery Tour," which began on April 25. The song was conceived in the image of "a mysterious bus trip with no destination. From the basic track, a brass section was gradually dubbed in to complete the song. The bus passing and braking sounds are dubbed in, suggesting that the song was produced with TV images in mind from the beginning. In May, recording for the animated film "Yellow Submarine" began simultaneously, adding to his busy schedule. Perhaps because of this, he was unable to secure EMI Studios, and recorded "Baby Your Richman" at Olympic Studios, the Stones' favorite studio, and "It's All To Match" by George at Do Rein Lee Studios, the home of Jimi Hendrix and The Who. On June 17, the quirky "You Know My Name" was recorded, but the song was so fast-paced that it never came together and had to wait three years before it was released. The Beatles were also on a mission to announce a new song on "Our World" on June 25, but they had been working on the recording for the movie "Yellow Submarine" until the last minute, and finally started working on the new song 11 days before the announcement. The Beatles finally began work on a new song eleven days before the film's premiere: "Love Is All That Matters," which John had written. On the basic harpsichord track that John plays, there is still no French national anthem for the introduction, and finally the day of the live broadcast. In the warm-up, John can be heard singing "She Loves You, Yeah Yeah Yeah.It was not ad-libbed, but rather decided beforehand that he would sing the song. In addition to these rare recordings, the live broadcast version of "Love is Everything" without any modifications is also included. It was the era of psychedelics and drug culture. The Beatles were leading the world in London. The studio sessions from April 25, immediately after "Sargent Peppers," through June 25 are recorded here. The Beatles would later make the decision to run the entire operation themselves after the sudden death of Brian Epstein in August. Japanese liner notes, 7,000 characters, 8 pages.
